Alexis and Christa Hernández are the hosts of Kerida, where Cuban warmth meets creative design.

Alexis, a Cuban dancer and choreographer from Matanzas, grew up in a family of musicians and dancers who passed down the traditions of Afro-Cuban culture.

Christa, a swiss designer and dancer trained at Havana’s Art School, brings her artistic eye and love for detail to every corner of the house.

After 15 years living, teaching and performing in Europe, they returned to Cuba to create Kerida and their dance studio Cimarron — two places that celebrates culture, connection, and everyday Cuban life. Their passion for hospitality and the arts makes each guest experience feel authentic and personal.
